Archea Residences

Inspired by the morphology of the Lake Maggiore area on one side and by the hills on the other, the buildings take the form of finely sculpted, cut and shaped stones, embellished by the skilful use of granite and blue-coloured terracotta, recalling the place's recent past dedicated to ceramic production.

They are a new piece of the city, hinge between the public square at the top and the lakefront where residents have a private garden and terraces facing the gulf.

 

For the gluing of the tiles (in some areas directly onto the outer coat) there was a need to use products that would give a guarantee of tightness and durability even if constantly exposed to the weather and the particular humidity present near the lake.

 

For this purpose, our Grigokoll Ultrax tile adhesive and our Fugastyle Epox Super epoxy sealant were chosen. The plastering of the exterior walls, on the other hand, not only had to guarantee tightness and durability, but also had to provide great breathability and colour permanence. For these reasons, our structural plaster BF 02 was chosen.
